Spodoptera Lure (1pc)

Description

A synthethic pheromone insect attractant used to control male moths of spodoptera frugiperda on a large number of cultivated plant species but the greatest damage is observed in grasses such as maize and sorghum wheat and rice.

Use with sticky delta trap for monitoring and mass trapping.

Uses of Spodoptera Lure

• This is an attractant for male African cotton leafworm (Spodoptera littoralis) that is useful for mating disruption and mass trapping and killing of the pest. The lure is dispensed from rubber septa packaged in aluminium pouches.

• It is dispensed in a delta trap innovatively designed by Farmtrack to withstand harsh environmental conditions in the field. The African cotton leafworm is polyphagous and a key pest of cotton, maize, tomatoes, cut flowers and other vegetables.

Application rate

4 lures per acre (minimum).
