Description

Escort 19 EC is an Insecticide/ miticide for control of diamondback moth on cabbages; thrips, spider mites, and caterpillars on French beans, and Roses, thrips on tomatoes, capsicum, and onions, and fall armyworms on maize.

Escort 19 EC Mode of Action

Emamectin benzoate acts by interfering with neurotransmitters of target pests, which results in the disruption of nerve impulses.

Escort 19 EC Rate

0.15-0.25L (3-5ml) per liter of water.

Maize: Fall armyworm – 500 ml/ha in 400 liters of water. 1.25 ml per liter of water

Tomatoes: Thrips – 300-400 ml/ha in 1000 liters of water. 0.3-0.4 ml per liter of water

French beans: Caterpillar, thrips, spider mites – 400 ml/ha in 1000 liters of water. 0.4 ml per liter of water

Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI)

French beans, capsicum, onions, and tomatoes – 7 days

Cabbage, maize – 14 days

Application Method

Apply by foliar spraying using 1000 litres of water per hectare.

Application Timing

Apply at the first signs of insect infestation and repeat every 7-10 days.

Preparation of Spray Mixture

Fill the spray tank with half the amount of required water. Add the required amount of ESCORT® 19EC and fill the water to the required level. Agitate to ensure thorough mixing.

Re-entry Period

Do not enter treated areas 12 hours after application until the spray has dried unless wearing cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and all other protective gears, which must be washed after every use.
